Although you’ll see dedicated pages for Steyr and Feinwerkbau, I can build grips for almost all one-piece, non-electronic match pistols. This includes older platforms such as single-stroke pneumatics, CO₂ pistols, and early pre-charged models, and a wide range of brands including Pardini, Morini, Walther, and more affordable options such as Precihole or Snowpeak. Where required, I can work fully within ISSF rules.

There are very few specialist pistol grip makers left in the UK, so choice is limited. When fit and consistency matter, it’s worth choosing a grip you can rely on.

The Pardini P10 shown here is a good example of updating an older platform with modern handling and appearance. The brief was a natural timber with plenty of character, combined with a professional-level fit. Individually pointed stippling, hand-cut borders, and a satin oil finish complement the modern geometry, bringing this 10m match pistol fully up to date.

FAQ

Custom Match Pistol Grips FAQ

Simple answers — the details are always discussed during your enquiry.

A bespoke pistol grip gives you the best possible fit at one of the most crucial points of contact with the pistol. Choosing the construction material also lets you control the look of the finished item. A poorly fitting grip induces fatigue and inconsistency that kills good scores on the range; a properly fitting one makes a world of difference.
Almost any one-piece, non-electronic match pistol. That includes Steyr, Feinwerkbau, Pardini, Morini and Walther, plus more affordable options like Precihole and Snowpeak. Older single-stroke, CO₂ and early pre-charged pistols are welcome too, and I can work fully to ISSF rules.
Currently I require pistols to be left with me for all custom match grip work. In the future I’m hopeful that won’t be the case for the more popular air pistols such as select Steyr and Feinwerkbau models.
Wait times and order queues vary with demand, but typically once a project starts it takes around 8 weeks until completion. Expect roughly 6–8 weeks from first contact to a finished grip.
Testimonials

Custom Match Pistol Grips testimonials

Built for fit, finish, and performance.

A huge thanks to Tom, he was an absolute gentleman throughout the process, and a real pleasure to deal with. His craftsmanship is first class, and it really shows in his work. There are so many little details with the shaping that really make it an ideal fit in the hand. The stippling is superb, the finger grooves sit perfectly, palm swell is right on, and the support really helps to steady the gun. I’m totally over the moon with it!
Pete Pardini P10 Match Grip
After using the pistol grip, it feels great in my hand. I’ve shown some other shooters your work and there was a lot of interest.
Colin Steyr Evo 10
As much as I hate to admit it (I know Tom), the quality is superb and my points have gone up since swapping from my factory grip. Tom is a bit good at what he does, and after attending a fitting I was surprised at how much difference this could make. Well recommended.
